Clearfield Progress...December 11, 1957..Julius Hoyt, 55, of Olanta R.D., Lawrence Twp. died yesterday December 10, 1957 afternoon, in the Clearfield Hospital. Mr. Hoyt, was a carpenter by occupation, but was employed by the Clearfield Area Schools for the past four years, He was born September 16, 1902, in Lawrence Twp. a son of the late Lynn and Sarah J. ( Norris ) Hoyt. He was a member of the Glen Richey Baptist Church, Mr. Hoyt is survived by his wife the former Cora ( Rowles ), and the following children, Mrs. Thomas ( Donna ) Hawkins, of Clearfield., Darl Hoyt, of Fort Knox, K.Y., ( U.S. ARMY )and Doris Mae, at home., one grandson, and these brothers, and sisters, also survive. John Hoyt, of Shiloh., Mrs. Alex ( Helen ) Ward, of Glen Richey., James Hoyt, of Altoona., Mrs. Robert ( Gertrude ) Collins, of Curwensville., and Leroy Hoyt, of Clearfield R.D. funeral services will be held from the Lininger Funeral Home, Friday, at 2 p.m. burial will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery, friends will be received at the funeral home Tomorrow, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and Friday until time of services
