For Margaret, wife of my 3rd GG from SC they moved to GA where they lived for 12 years, but because of her husband's problem with the slavery issue they moved to Illinois in 1839. Then, in 1840 due to a wet season, four of their children (Thomas, James, Elizabeth and Robert) contracted prairie fever and died within a month. A sadness beyond understanding.
