Mr. Adams was a deacon in the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church. He served as a Police Juror for 24 years and was a member of the Louisiana Forestry Association.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Neoma Adams of Sikes; one son, Crosby Adams, Jr. of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. Maurice Brister of Minden; Mrs. Reba Gates of Vivian, Mrs. Retha Canerday of Manifest; one brother, Ottis Adams of Sikes; five sisters, Mrs. Marlo Willis of Sikes, Mrs. Nancy Bell Townsend of Winnfield, Mrs. Modie Williams of Winnfield, Mrs. Selma Rose of South Deerfield, Massachusetts, Mrs. Bertie Waggoner of Sikes; 10 grandchildren; and one great grandson.
