Mrs. Isabel (Scrap) Parker, age 87, of Route 1 in Arcadia, died at the DeSoto Memorial Hospital Monday Night Jan. 24.
Mrs. Parker was the widow of the late Hooker H. Parker. She was born in DeSoto County and was a life-long resident of Arcadia.
She was a retired cattle rancher and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Nola Parker, Tampa; and Mary Elizabeth Browning, Onel, New York; two brothers Z.A. Browning, Arcadia’ and S.A. Browning, Onel.
Funeral services will be held at Joshua Creek Cemetery on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Fred Spencer officiating.
Burial will be in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
The Robarts Grady Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
