ROBERT M. COLE
Robert M. Cole, 84, of Alexandri-
a, died early today at St. Vincent
Mercy Hospital.
Born Aug. 8, 1915, in Elwood, he
was the son of Samuel A, Julia
Monahan Cole.
He married Harriett Ethelyn
Landseadel Dec. 24, 1934. She
died May 30, 1989.
He was plant superintendent at
Tipton Stokely VanCamp, retiring
Jan. 1, 1975. He was a member of
St. Joseph Catholic Church and a
life member of the Elwood Conser-
vation Club.
Survivors include a son, James
E. Cole of Elwood; a daughter,
Joan Marie Hosier of Alexandria;
three brothers, Glen Cole of
Elwood, John Cole of Anderson
and Herman Cole of Colorado; two
sisters, Rita Leer and Mary Matney,
both of Elwood; six grandchildren;
and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, his wife, three brothers,
and two sisters.
Funerial services will be at 1 p.m.
Saturday at Copher & Fesler Fun-
eral Home, with Father Kenneth
Raczek and Sister Rosie Cough;in
officiating. Burila will be in Sunset
Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to
1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral
home.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Gideon Living Memor-
ial Bible Plan through the funeral
home.
