Services for Phoebe Dell Fugler Robinson, of Katy, Texas, are 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive with burial in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robinson, 80, died Dec. 26, 2008, in Madison. She was born in Lincoln County on March 31, 1928, to Emmitt Nations and Irene Greer Nations.

She worked for 17 years as a telephone operator with South Central Bell and retired as a materials manager at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Rip Robinson; her brother, Warren "Bozo" Nations; and her sister, Sidney White.

Survivors are her daughter, Stella Fugler Applewhite and husband, Gordon, of Katy; her sister, Peggy Smith and husband, W. L., of Wesson; her grandchildren, Lee Myers, of Brookhaven, and Taylor Applewhite, of Katy; and her great-grandson, Dallas Myers, of Brookhaven.

Pallbearers are Wayne White, Revel Applewhite, Stephen Applewhite, Craig Smith, Brian Emerson and Cody Emerson.

Memorials or gifts may be made to Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.
