Susan Eileen Barney, 62, passed away on December 19, 2008 in St. George, Utah.

She was born on May 29, 1946 in Kanab, Utah to Ernest LaGrande Asay and Lucile Judd. Sue owned and operated, Symbols, Arts and Gifts in Hurricane, Utah. She loved, supported and displayed the art produced by Utah Artists. She loved living in Southern Utah for the weather, rocks, scenery and frogs.

She was survived by her children, Jon (Jill) Barney; Cindi (Anthony) Green; Chris Barney; mother, Lucile Judd Asay; sisters, Linda Richins; LuAnn Holfeltz; brothers, Gary Asay; Lee Asay; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, LaGrande Asay; two brothers.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Goff Mortuary located at 8090 South State Street in Midvale, Utah. Friends and family attended a viewing one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.
Susan was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at the Sandy City Cemetery in Sandy, Utah.
