November 23, 1945:

Harry Clark, aged 80 years, a retired farmer, died unexpectedly at his farm in Queen Anne's County on Tuesday morning shortly after arriving there from his home in Queen Anne. Funeral services will be held at the late home at 2 o'clock today (Friday) and burial will be in Denton.
Mr. Clark was born near Camden, Del., a son of Peter T. Clark and Emily Cooper Clark, who were residents of Denton in their late years. His adult years were devoted to farming, first in Tuckahoe Neck and then on the farm he acquired in Queen Anne's county.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mrs. Minnie Wheeler Morgan; a son, Prof. Wilbur A. Clark, of Ocean City, N.J., and a daughter, Mrs. John B. Taylor, of Wilmington, Del., both children of his first wife, the late Jennie Anderson Clark; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Surviving also there are two sisters and three brothers- Misses Lizzie and Emma Clark, of Denton; Wallace Clark, of Easton, Md.; P. Webster Clark, of Louisville, Ky., and Thomas G. Clark, of Los Angeles, Calif.
