Services for Jerry Lynn Baptiste, 47, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Randy Davis and Randy Baptiste officiating. Interment will be at Hickory Cemetery.

Baptiste was born July 4, 1952, in Ardmore, to Lee (Robert Lee Baptiste Sr.) and Francis Parker Baptiste (both buried at this cem.). He died Jan. 27, 2000, in the local hospital.

A lifetime resident of this area, he graduated from Plainview High School and was a member of McAlister Indian Baptist Church. He and Corliss Reece were married Sept. 3, 1999, at Gainesville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Kimberly, Deanna and Jennifer, all of McMillan; three stepsons, Dustin, Joshua and Jerry Hicks, Overbrook; four brothers, Dennis and Robert, Ardmore, and Lonzo and Thomas, Tulsa; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary; and brother, Gordon.

Bearers will be Bill Stick, Edmond Davis Jr., Audie John, Jerome Morgan, Dennis and Glenn James.

A prayer service will be conducted from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
