LAWRENCE HERRMANN
Lawrence Herrmann, aged 70 years, died very suddenly at his home at 127 West Twelfth, Wednesday evening at 7:30, death being due to heart trouble. Mr. Herrmann had been feeling badly for more than a week and had been under the care of a physician, but was thought to be improved and Tuesday and Wednesday was able to be out on the streets. He became suddenly worse yesterday afternoon.
The deceased is well known in Newton having been a resident here for twenty years. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, September 18, 1851. Besides a widow, Mr. Herrmann is survived by five children, Mrs. Thos. G. Forrester of Wichita, Mrs. N. H. Anderson of Fullerton, Calif., Joe of Wichita, Harry of Kansas City, and William whose present residence is not known.
Funeral services will be held at Sprinker's chapel, Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock and Rev. I. W. Young will officiate. Burial will take place in the Greenwood cemetery.
