Ralph Dwight Edgmon, 59, of Southwest City, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, in Grove, Oklahoma. He was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Hiwasse, Ark., to Harvey Pete Edgmon and Louise Duncan Edgmon.
He was a truck driver. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a M.A.S.H. medic during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Mandi Edgmon; three daughters, Wendy Jarvis of Hiwasse, Ark., Jenny Wortman of Bentonville, Ark., and Diane Carrier of Gravette, Ark.; three stepsons, Rex Lemonds, Donny Lemonds and Eric Lemonds, all of Gravette; two brothers, Bill Edgmon of Gravette and Scott Edgmon of Decatur, Ark.; seven sisters, Phyllis Burnett and Edie Burnett, both of Gravette, Linda Sanders of Bella Vista, Ark., Wilma Fladager of Phoenix, Ariz., Beverly Nelson of Springdale, Ark., Paula Harris of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Julie Wardlaw of Decatur; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Gravette, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Hiwasse, Ark., with Brother Ernest Lastovica.
Burial will be at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.

Dwight was a pall bearer at my first husband, Charles Lee Buffer's funeral. I called Dwight and he said he would organize the pall bearers for me.
