H. H. "Hick" Cannon, 85, of Leitchfield, died at his home October 12, of wounds received when a shotgun discharged accidentally. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Mt. Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his widow, Sylvia Conklin Cannon; one daughter Mary Nell Kinser of Campbellsville; a son Earl B. Cannon; one brother, Elbert Cannon of Leitchfield; and two grandchildren, and four great grand-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, October 14, at Watkins Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Rev. Chester Cannon officiating, assisted by Rev. Clarence Brear. Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
