Mrs. Winnie Musa Davis, 76, of 139 Chipeta, a Grand Junction resident for 50 years, died at 12:35 pm Thursday in Mesa Memorial Hospital.
Born July 7, 1898, at Pinon, she spent her childhood at Nucla and attended schools there. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter Castle of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. Dessie Rice of Nucla; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in the First Assembly of God Church, 4th & Grand, with Rev. Gary Piewrson & Rev. Del Whittington officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangments under direction of Martin's Mortuary.
