Death: Dec. 6, 2008

This is my sweet brother.

Soon I will add a more personal bio for him.
I lost both my sister and my brother this year and right now I feel to much sadness to do him any justice.
He was such a caring and compassionate man and he most definitely will be missed by all who knew him.

From His Obituary...

Al "Big Sulli" Sullivan, 54, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at his residence in Trafalgar.

He was born March 15, 1954, in Indianapolis to the late Alra Sullivan Sr. and Georga Marie (James) Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife, Susan M. (Peteri) Sullivan; three daughters, Laurie M. Sullivan of Kokomo, Michelle P. Sullivan of Bloomington and Danielle N. Sullivan of Kokomo; a grandson, Mathew N. Sullivan of Kokomo; a granddaughter, Tabitha M. Sullivan of Trafalgar; three brothers, Ronnie Sullivan and Donald Lee Sullivan, both of Indianapolis, and John D. Sullivan of East Douglas, Mass.; and two sisters, Linda Alkire and Sandy Edwards, both of Indianapolis.

He was an avid golfer. He played basketball and football and wrestled during high school. He was a collector of Bob Knight and Larry Bird memorabilia.

There will be no calling or services. Al had requested cremation and a private family memorial service. Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh is handling arrangements.

This is his own words written about himself that he placed on a page for Haworth High School Reunion, Kokomo Indiana, Class of 1973.
He wrote this in August 2008, 4 months before he passed away.

Hi! most of you wouldn't remember me because I wasn't very outstanding or interesting!! But here it is anyway. I got married right out of High School, tried restaurant work for a short while, that wasn't going to support a family so I started at a factory in Indianapolis! That is where I honed my skills. In 1981 I started a business, that specialised the repair of cryogenic heat exchangers, to make a long story short I was A traveling welder! I traveled all over the world and after a very long 25 years I sold my business and retired in southern Indiana! and that is where I live today. I have been married three times and had four children, and two wonderful grand children!!
Al Sullivan

For you my Big Brother...
I love you so very much, and I do that with all of my heart and all of my soul and I especially want to thank you for loving me too. For the rest of my life, I will miss every thing about you.
