Preceded in death by: husband, Roger, on Dec. 6, 1998; eight brothers and sisters; and a grandchild, Travis Schmidt.

Survivors: daughters, Janet Schmidt, Valley Falls, and Darlene (Norris) Cole, Hays; son, Roger Jr. (Jackie), Westminster, Colo.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation: from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, Plainville, with a rosary/vigil service starting at 3 p.m. Mass of Christian burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville.
