A YOUNG WIFE AND MOTHER PASSED AWAY
While Pres. Francis M. Lyman was visiting with the people in Fillmore he received word that his daughter, Annie L., wife of Judge Wm. H. King, had died last Monday morning at Kansas City, Missouri at the residence of an intimate friend of hers - Mrs. E. M. Miller, whose guest she was at the time. Many of the older members of our community will remember Mrs. King, or little Annie Lyman. She was born here Dec. 28, 1868 and was only nine years old when she removed with the rest of the family to Tooele where her father had been called to preside over the Tooele Stake. She resided with her parents at Tooele till the time of her marriage to Wm. H. King, when she removed to Provo, where she resided till a few years ago, when Judge King and family removed to Salt Lake City. She was the mother of four children, one of which has preceded her to the next world. Three children survive her, ranging in age from sixteen to nine years. Judge King was with his wife when she died. It will be a sad home coming. We sincerely sympathize with our dear friend, Judge King, and his motherless children. It is indeed a hard blow - one of the hardest trials that comes to a man. We also condole with the parents, brothers and sisters of the deceased. May they all find comfort in the hope of a happy reunion.
