He retired in July from McGill Manufacturing Company, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Valparaiso, and a past exhaulted leader of the BPOE.
He was married to Jennie Sue Allen, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Susan Tamburini of Connecticut and Rebekah Blum of Michigan; one sister, Jean Dinsmore of Hebron; one brother, Bennet Berlin of Illinois; and seven grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. August 17, at the First Presbyterian Chruch, Valparaiso, the Rev. Sue Burton officiating. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Bartholomew funeral Home, Valparaiso, was in charge of arrangements.
