HOMER POWELL DIES

Homer POWELL, 71, 806 St. Louis St., West Frankfort died at 5:30 a.m. today in Union Hospital after a four-day illness. Friends may call at Vantrease Funeral Home, West Frankfort, after 7 p.m. Thursday. Other arrangements are incomplete.

RITES SATURDAY FOR WEST FRANKFORT MAN

Funeral services for Homer POWELL, 71, 806 W. St. Louis St., West Frankfort, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the First Church of God, Parkhill and Poplar Streets.

The Rev. J. E WILLIAMSON will officiate. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery.

Mr. POWELL died Wednesday in Union Hospital.

He leaves his wife Minnie; sons Eugene of Cahokia, Ralph of West Frankfort; daughter Mrs. Gladys NEIHAUS of St. Louis; sister Mrs. Teresa DEASON of West Frankfort; half-sister Mrs. Florence BOWMAN of West Frankfort and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Vantrease Funeral Home, West Frankfort, after 7 p.m. today.
