William Wesley Towsey, 91, of 6113 Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, and Coles Point, died Monday, October 8. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Taylor Towsey; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy T. Brooks of Tappahannock and Mrs. Bertha T. Gillespie of Foxwells; four sons, Wilfrey W. Towsey of Coles Point, Taylor A. Towsey of Mechanicsville, F. Carlton Towsey of Sandston and H. Ray Towsey of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Zelia Paris and Mrs. Hazel Toler, both of Richmond; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Remains rest at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where funeral services will be held, 11 a.m. Thursday with interment in Forest Lawn.
