Thrown Off Hay Wagon, Lizton Farmer Succumbs
Clarence Goodwin, 37 years old, a farmer living near Lizton, died yesterday afternoon at the Methodist hospital of injuries suffered Saturday (Feb. 2, 1929) when he fell from a hay wagon while storing hay in a barn. When a rope on a pulley broke, Goodwin was hurled backwards off the wagon, falling on his head. He was brought to the hospital yesterday morning. The body will be taken to the Goodwin home in Hendricks county today.

Goodwin - Clarence, beloved husband of Ersie Goodwin and father of Richard Goodwin, passed away Feb. 3, 1929. Funeral Wednesday, Feb. 6, 11 a.m. at the Lizton Christian Church. Burial Old Union cemetery. Friends invited. Lucas & McConnaha in charge.
