Kenneth H. Rodgers, 82, of Prospect, formerly of Fairview, died this morning at Butler County Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
Born Oct. 22, 1888, he was the son of the late William D. and Clarabelle Hillard Rodgers.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler and was a retired Armco employee.
His wife, Frances Work Rodgers, died in 1963.
Surviving are three sons, Donald K. Rodgers of Oil City, Bernard W. of Mt. Chestnut, Butler R.D. 7, and Frank E. of Mt. Ephraim, N.J.; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Kathleen) Zeigler of Prospect, Mrs. Robert (Edith) Wortman of Detroit, Mich.,; 18 grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Rodgers of Blue, Okla.; four sisters Mrs. Eleanore Bradley of Green Valley, Ariz., Mrs. Bertram (Beth) Kauffman of Redondo Beach, Calif., Mrs. Laurabelle Reed of Green Valley, Ariz. and Mrs. Wilda Woodcock of Niles, Ohio.
RODGERS – Friends of Kenneth H. Rodgers of prospect, formerly of Fairview, who died Thursday, April 1, 1971, will be received at George B. Pyle Funeral Home, Prospect, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Warren A. Bugbee, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Butler, and the Rev. James G. McClelland, pastor of the United Church, Prospect, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mt. Chestnut.
