Corine was employed with the Waco Independent School District for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Roxie Childers; husband of 50 years, Connie "Redman" Ervin; and sisters, Margrite Landrum and Mozell Brewer.
She is survived by son, George Ervin and wife, Patricia, of The Colony, Texas; daughters, Zelma Foster, of Farewell, Texas, Evelyn Minor and husband, Dunk, of Vallejo, Calif., Connie Parnell, of Seattle, Wash., and Carrie Ervin, of San Francisco, Calif.; grandchildren, Banika Ervin and George Ervin, both of The Colony, Texas; sister, Mary Henderson, of Midland; brother, J. Q. Childers, of Midland; step-sons, Kenneth Mays, of Ft. Worth, and Joe Matthews and wife, Barbara, of Waco; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
