N. Clark Bowser, 91, of Worthington died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur J. (Mary Virginia) Hindman of Knox. A life-time resident of the Worthington-Kittanning area, he was a farmer by occupation. Mr. Bowser was a member of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church. Born Dec. 10, 1880 in Washington Township, he was a son of Lewis and Eva (Snowden) Bowser. Surviving are his wife, Emma (Powell) Bowser; seven sons; John G. of Reynoldsville, Roger L. of Kittanning MR 10, Edward I. of LaFeria, Texas, Andrew C. of Pacoima, Calif., Herbert of Worthington RD 2, Donald L. of Kittanning RD 7, Gerald of Avonmore; three daughters, Mrs. Hindman of Knox, Mrs. Joseph (Emily) Morgan of Sedwick Heights, Kittanning, Mrs. William (Martha) Patton of Kittanning RD 4; 36 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jesse M. of Chico, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Lola Shearer of McKeesport. Three children, two sisters and six brothers are deceased. BOWSER - Friends of N. Clark Bowser, who died Dec. 12, 1971, will be received at the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington. Visitation hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and Tuesday. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Palmer Manson, pastor of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery. Arrangements by Flick.
