Mrs. Rosie E. (Witmer) Houser, 82, died last evening at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Dillie Miller, of South Carpenter Street in Schaefferstown. Her husband, Charles Houser, died in 1945. She was a daughter of Phillip and Rosanna Smith Witmer. Mrs. Houser was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church in Schaefferstown. She is survived by a daughter, Edna, wife of Hunter R. Borrell, Schaefferstown, a number of nephews and nieces, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Miller, at whose home she resided. [Lebanon Daily News, March 27, 1952, Page 32]
