GALLUP — Memorial services for John V. (Jack) Horrocks, 89, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at East Aztec Baptist Church, Gallup. Gene Turk will officiate.
Horrocks died Nov. 19, 2008, in Gallup. He was born Aug. 16, 1919, in Gallup.
Horrocks attended Gallup High School and University of Colorado, Boulder. He worked at Gallup Flying Service. He was a lifelong member of the Elks Club. His hobbies included flying-general aviation, fishing, spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his sons, James (Jim) Horrocks of Gallup, Richard (Rick) Horrocks of Glendale; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Horrocks was preceded in death by his wife, Mavourneen Horrocks; son, John V. Horrocks Jr
