3 Nov 2004: Margaret "Cas" Knott Senft, 87, died at 11:53 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2004, at the Brethren Home Community in New Oxford. She was the wife of the late David S. Senft, Jr. and the late Cecil T. Knott. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Irwin Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove with the Rev. Timothy J. Kielley officiating. Viewings will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. Mrs. Senft was born October 20, 1917, in Itasca, Texas. She was a daughter of the late Mannie and Clara (Street) Turner. Mrs. Senft was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stoverstown. She leaves two sons, C. Daniel Knott of Westminster, Md. and Cary D. Knott of Golden, Colo.; a daughter, Malvadean K. Forry of Hanover; two step sons, Rickie L. Senft of Spring Grove and Randy S. Senft of Timmonsville, S.C.; a step daughter, Bonnie S. Altland of Spring Grove; 10 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
