Anissa was taken from this Earth on Valentine`s Day 2002.She was in an auto-accident. She left behind many people that will always love and miss her. Annisa was due to graduate in May of that year.


Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 17, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Geesey Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Anissa Brooke Leger, 17, who died at 7:39 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette as the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Rev. Todd Menard will officiate for the services. The visitation began on Saturday, February 16, and will continue until time of services on Sunday.
Burial will be in the Sensat Cemetery in Egan.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Laurie and Rex Thibodeaux of Scott, La.; her father, Charles Leger of Crowley; her fiance' and his daughter, Dustin and Kimberly Aucoin of Duson; one brother, Cade Leger of Scott; her maternal grandparents, Larry and Loraine Regan of Egan; and, her paternal grandmother, Esther Simon of Crowley.
Miss Leger was a senior at Acadiana High School in Scott. She was fun-loving and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brad, Lonnie and Lyle Regan; Derek and Dustin Aucoin; and, Charlie Touchet.
Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley has been entrusted with the arrangements
