Frances Bolding Leith
age 93, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose love and steady presence enriched our lives, died peacefully at her home in Manassas, VA on September 8, 2008.
Mrs. Leith was born on October 13, 1914 in Pickens County, South Carolina to the late Jesse M and Artie Jane Pilgrim Bolding.
Mrs. Leith was a lifetime member of Manassas Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and provided childcare for the nursery.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert L. Leith and her daughter Sue Frances Leith.
Survivors include one son, L. Ross Leith; one daughter, Sharon Leith Karl grandchildren: Tracey Lee and Ashley Hammond, Nathan Karl and Anne Devine; Johanna Sergent and Mark Hawkins and great grandchildren: Christian Lee, Joshua Lee and Rachel Lee, Zachary Young, Andy Bolling and Lee Bolling, Megan Hawkins and Nathan Hawkins and Hannah Devine.
The Family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Manassas Baptist Church, 8800 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
