Rev. W. Lee Rector, Pastor of First Orthodox Baptist, to Conduct Service.
Services for Mrs. Martha Virginia Thomas, wife of J. F. Thomas, watchman for the Pure Oil refinery, who died suddenly at her home, 815 Eighth avenue northwest, Tuesday Morning, will be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The funeral from Harvey Bros. chapel will be conducted by Rev. W. Lee Rector, pastor of the First Orthodox Baptist church, with burial at Rose Hill cemetery.
Active pall bearers are E. J. Ballinger, Allen S. Boland, O. C. Carter, W. B. McMurray, D. H. Butler and C. E. Cook. The honorary bearers include John Jeffrey, J. C. Taliaferro, Ben Wallace, H. R. Gordon, V. S. Johnson, D. S. Custer, Robert Raburn, B. C. Cross, John Scrugham, J. C. Hawkins, Rudy Griffiths and H. S. Booner.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, one son, Grover Cleveland, and four daughters, Mrs. Maggie Webber, Mrs. Minnie Burton and Mrs. Bartie Faine, all of Carlton, and Mrs. Ruth Jones, Phoenix, Ariz."
