Daughter of Nicholas Boody, Sr, and Margaret his wife. She was born near Hallsville, NY, in Montgomery County. The family attended the Geisenburg Church, St Paul Lutheran in what is now Hallsville. They moved to Danube, in Herkimer County, NY about 1818. Catherine married Conradt John Eychaner about this time. She was the mother of ten children: Nancy, Mary, Margaret, Timothy, Allen, Henry, William, Lucinda, Sarah, and Andrew. They moved to Steuben, Oneida County, and when the rest of the family moved to Eaton County, Michigan, Catherine and Conrad and their children moved to Paynes Point, Illinois. She died shortly after their move to Illinois.
