Mrs. Alice Victoria Alexander, 94 years old, died September 15 at Cascade. The former Miss Clubb was born January 5, 1882 at Buckhorn, a daughter of M.I. and Minora Jane (Collinger) Clubb.
On April 20, 1902 she married Joseph P. Alexander, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Gravelton, MO. She was baptized May 21, 1882 and confirmed October 29, 1896.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Stella Johnson of Cascade; Mrs. Jewell DeBoard of Cascade; Mrs. Marie Stevens of Cape Girardeau; Mrs. Ruby Clark of Marquand; two sons, Thomas Alexander of Lowndes; and M.F. Alexander of Cascade; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Stroup of Marquand; and Mrs. Octa K. Roettger of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Gus Clubb of Farmington; 15 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
One son, Allen, five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
Services and burial were September 18 at Zion Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Hartland Alexander, Jim Alexander, Dan Alexander, Allen Clark, Douglas Stevens and Paul Stevens.
