AGED 85 YEARS, 3 MONTHS, 5 DAYS / Son of LAFAYETTE and MARY Alta (WEAVER) DUNAGAN / Husband of NORA BELLE (ROBERTS) DUNAGAN / GRANDFATHER of "DIANE SAWYER" (of TV FAME) / [From the Wayne County Outlook Date: June 17, 1976 FOXIE DUNAGAN, age 85, of the Frazer Community passed away on Wednesday morning, June 9, 1976, in Wayne County Hospital. Mr DUNAGAN was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He was a member of the Methodist Churchm and had served as a trustee for the Wayne County Board of Education and was one of th first Directors of the Peoples Bank of Monticello. He remained on the board until his 80th birthday. Surviving him are his Wife, NORA BELL DUNAGAN and 4 Children, Mrs GENE HAYES, and Mrs WANDA (DUNAGAN) JONES, both of Louiseville, KY, Mrs MAXINE (DUNAGAN) BIGSTAFF, of Mt. Sterling, KY and Mrs ANN JO (DUNAGAN) STRAUB, of Cincinnati, Ohio. His Parents were LAFETTYE and MARY ALTA (WEAVER) DUNAGAN, both deceased. Funeral services were held on Friday morning, June 11, 1976, in the chapel of the Richard Lee Funeral Home, with Bro, Homer Williams officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cem., Wayne CO., KY. Richard Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arragements.
