Death came to Mrs. Clyde (Tiny) French,62, of Hamburg, Thursday night, Dec. 15, in Jeff Davis Hospital in Natchez.
Mrs. French reportedly became ill while shopping with her daughter in Natchez and died a short time later.
Mrs. French was born Jan. 28, 1904, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Victor and Sally Collier Martin. She was a member of Hamburg Baptist Church and Roxie Order of the Eastern Star.
Services were conducted Saturday at 10 a. m. at Hamburg Baptist Church with Rev. Nolan McCoy and Rev. J. C. Graves officiating. Burial was in Hamburg Cemetery with Hartman Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors in addition to her husband are one son, John D. French, Natchez; one daughter, Mrs. Wilburn Chance, Natchez; two brothers, Eugene Martin, Hamburg, and Loney Martin, Woodville; two grandchildren, Kirk Matthews, Ronnie Carpenter, and one great grandchild, Shannon Kirk Matthews.
