Mrs. Eunice Wilson, age 85, of Lincoln, Mo., died at her home Monday evening May 16th. She was born near Slater, Mo. in Saline County, October 6, 1897 a daughter of James and Lucy Harris Lyon.
On August 15, 1918 she was married to William H. Cassaday at Marshall, Mo., and he preceded her in death May 16, 1972. She was married to Forest A. Wilson on June 12, 1973 and he preceded her in death May 27, 1974.
Mrs. Wilson had lived in the Lincoln Community for the past sixty plus years. She was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church of Saline County.
Survivors include one niece, Mary Ann Lewellen of Slater, Mo., two nephews, Harvey Cassaday of Mt. Clemens, Michigan and James Cassaday of Independence, Mo.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and by two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 1983 at the Fred Davis & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Turner officiating. James Reser sang, "One Day At A Time" and "Going Down The Valley" with Evelyn Gardner as organist. Pallbearers were: David Harms, Rick Harms, Charles Yancey, James Cassaday, Dr. Richard Nuckles, and Billy Jaekel. Interment was made in the Lincoln Cemetery.
