William Henry Davis, a retired postal employee, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be 3p.m. Wednesday at Bethany United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, directed by Stuhr's Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born , May 2 1911 in Kershaw, a son of Charles E. and Mrs. Winifred Knight Davis. He was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church of James Island and the James Island Island exchange club. James Island Lodge No 396.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Merle Stroman Davis: two sisters Mrs. H.N. Hutchinson and Miss Mary Davis both of Kershaw; three brothers, Dr. John T. Davis of Walhalla, Charles E. Davis Jr. of Kershaw and Rev. Len E. Davis of Richmond, Va. four grandchildren.
