Mrs. Florence Loretta Falasconi, of Calgary, passed away suddenly at the Rockyview General Hospital on November 23, 1993 at the age of 69 years. She is survived by son Richard, his wife D'Arcy, daughter Roslynne, granddaughter Angela, all of Calgary; also a brother Rudolph Usick of Erickson, Manitoba; sister Leona Lowe of Lethbridge, Alberta; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by both parents, her husband in 1981 and her sister Mamie. Florence was born on her parents' farm in Erickson, Manitoba on February 29, 1924 to Rose and Mike Usick. She married Italo (Chris) Falasconi on November 12, 1949. Together they owned and operated many businesses. Florence was a member of the Sacred Heart Choir and the Calgary Winter Club. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was an avid world traveller and enjoyed life and sports to the fullest. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 - 14 Street S.W.), today, November 26, 1993 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Eugene J. Cooney of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery (4 Street and 32 Avenue N.W.).
