Sharon A. Wenger, 68 years old and a native and lifelong resident of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008 in the Village of Heritage.

She was born on Friday, August 25, 1939 in Monroeville, Indiana the daughter of the late Clarence Beauchot and the late Catherine Elizabeth (Westrick) Beauchot. She married Robert A. Wenger on May 23, 1959 in St. Rose Catholic Church and he passed away on May 1, 1997.

Sharon was a graduate of Monroeville High School Class of 1958. She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville, Indiana and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 420 of Monroeville.

She was a supervising cashier at K-Mart South for 25 years.

Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Scott (Sheryl A.) Lay, Mrs. Ty (Elizabeth K.) Copeland and Mrs. Brian (Denise L.) Smith all of Monroeville, Indiana, three sons; Kevin G. (Tammy) Wenger; Robert A. (Jan); and Jon C. Wenger all of Monroeville, Indiana, five brothers; Clarence J. Beauchot of Decatur, Indiana, Robert L. Beauchot of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and James, Joseph W. & Gene A. Beauchot all of Monroeville, Indiana, two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Carolyn) Blauvelt and Mrs. Donald (Kayte) Grabner both of Monroeville, Indiana, twenty-two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding Sharon in death was one sister, Theresa A. Beauchot.

A Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville with Fr. Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville.

Preferred memorials are to Masses, Monroeville Volunteer Fire Department or the Village of Heritage Ice Cream Machine.
