George T. Creager, a Missouri Pacific Railroad conductor on the Little Rock-Memphis run for 40 years, died at 4:25 p.m. yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital. A resident of 1178 Saxon, Mr. Creager was 77. Born in Cecilia, Ky, Mr. Creager came to Memphis about 45 years ago. He retired from MoPac two years ago. He belonged to the Lindenwood Christian Church. Mr. Creager was a Mason and a member of the Railroad Veterans Association. Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at National Funeral Home with Dr. H.T. Wood officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ora Creager of Memphis; a daughter, Mrs. M.L. Patton of Memphis, and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Scott of Louisville, Ky.
