"Clifford E. McClish born Aug. 21, 1897, Mesick, Michigan. Entered into rest December 9, 1965 Battle Creek, Michigan. Grave side services Memorial Park Cemetery Saturday at 11:00 A.M. December 11, 1965.

Cliff and Adele were the parents of two children, Clifford Jr. and Elayne. Clifford Jr was born in MI, 26 Aug 1924 in Kalamazoo, MI and died in Los Angeles, 11 May 1989, place of burial unknown. Though Cliff Jr was thought to have been buried with his parents, Memorial Park Cemetery staff confirms that Jr. is not in their cemetery.
Cliff Jr. was a nationally known magazine illustrator and fine portrait artist for over 30 years. Among his portrait works: Frank Sinatra (Frank Sinatra Private Collection) and Norman Rockwell (Norman Rockwell Museum). His studio and home were located in Southwest Michigan.
