Born of Grant and Maxine Parker Naylor 13 January 1932 and left this mortal existence on 15 October 2008 at Alta View Hospital of cancer complications after a 27 year battle.

Survived by her husband, Kean L. Farrer; her brother, G. Lloyd Naylor; four children: Kayleen, Kevan, Karen and Kory; and 11 grandchildren: Elise Hope (Jason), and Olivia Farrer; Allen (Rachel), Ian, Aubrey, and Andrew Cope; Jordan, Koryn, Koryssa, Karlee, and Kassidy Farrer.

She attended elementary and high school in Murray, Utah; BYU and the University of Utah. Her service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints included seminary and institute graduation; early morning seminary instructor; Relief Society President in two wards, RS, YW and Primary presidencies in three wards; teacher in Primary, Sunday School, Relief Society, and early morning seminary; missions to Netherlands, Germany, Washington, D.C. Temple, Belgium and The Church and Family History Mission. She was an ordinance worker in the Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Jordan River Temples. Her writing talents are known throughout the nation: roadshows, poems, booklets (MEET SANTA'S HELPERS), scripts for musicals and dance festivals. While a young mother and wife she taught tap and ballet dancing; baton twirling; and guitar lessons. She married Kean in 1952, lived in Salt Lake City and Granger, Utah; Lacey, Washington, and Southern California for 50 years only to move back to Salt Lake City, and South Jordan (Daybreak), Utah.

Viewing will be from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, 21 October 2008 and the Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior to services on Wednesday, 22 October 2008 - both at the LDS Chapel, Grandville (5000 West) and Firmont Drive (11690 South) South Jordan (Daybreak).
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
