Funeral services for Janie Dixon, 84-year-old resident of Winnsboro, were held at Lone Cedar Baptist church at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The Revs. C. W. Jones and Jesse Booth officiated.
Burial was in Lone Cedar cemetery.
A member of Lone Cedar Baptist church, Mrs. Dixon died Tuesday at Riley Nursing home. She was a native of Mississippi, having been born there on April 4, 1876.
Mrs. Dixon leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lena Keene of Winnsboro; a son, L. C. Dixon, Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Dixon, Winnsboro, and Mrs. Julia Jones, Minden Hall, Miss.; a brother, Ed Brown, Winnsboro; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Lonnie Polk, Earl Smith, Bubba Smith,
Angles Myers, Clarence Riley and Ermon Riley.
