Thomas Garland Albright was born to George Albright and Jennie Thompson in 1898, in West Sadsbury, Chester, Pennsylvania. As noted on his gravestone, he was mostly known by his middle name Garland.

At age 23 in 1921, he married Maude Edith Boohar, the daughter of Jacob Oscar Boohar and Susan Jane Ammon.

Garland and Maude had no children.


He worked at the local businesses, including the silk mill in Lancaster County as a mechanic (1940 census) and as a clerk in a foundry in Nazareth (1930 census). Prior to his marriage, he was listed as a chemist in the steel mill in Coatesvile (1920 census and WWI draft registration).

Garland died at the age of 74, in the year 1972. His wife survived him by 19 years, but did not remarry. Maude died on Apr. 4, 1991.
