Beulah Luckman, age 93, of Northfield, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at the Northfield Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Northfield. Interment will be in the Northfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Benson & Langehough Funeral Home, Northfield. Visitation will continue on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the services.

Beulah Genevieve Ellingboe Luckman was born May 25, 1915, at home in New Market Township, Scott County, Minn., to Ole and Rose (Thompson) Ellingboe. On June 17, 1936, she married Lloyd Winfield Luckman at Christiania Lutheran Church. After marriage they farmed in the Lakeville and Crystal Lake areas and then near Castle Rock. In 1960, they moved to Northfield; and Beulah worked as a nurse's aid. From the mid 1960s until the late 1970s she worked in food service at St. Olaf College. Her husband died on Dec. 27, 2006. Beulah was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include four children, Carol Brenner of Philadelphia, Pa., Edwin of Tillamook, Ore., Sharon Ann Satre of St. Paul and Charles of Northfield; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Horwath of Faribault.
