Hazel Goodrum Bishop, 85, of St. Joseph, Mich., died June 2, 2004 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Mich.
She was born Sept. 14, 1918 in Caruthersvile, Mo. daughter of the late Earl Aaron and Jannie Christian Goodrum. Her grandparents were Mack Duffie and Rebecca Leach Christian and George W. and Martha Ann Hester Goodrum.
On April 24, 1937 in Caruthersville, Mo., she married Richard Lee Bishop who preceded her in death on July 8, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Denny and one brother, Inland Goodrum. Another sister, Inez Goodrum Speight later died on Aug 27, 2008.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 7, at the Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
