Illness Is Fatal To C. Blackstone
Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Blackstone, 63, of Merced, who died in a local hospital after a long illness, were held Monday and the Ivers and Alcorn mission Chapel. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.
A native of Kansas, Mrs. Blackstone has lived in Merced for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, William E. Blackstone, Merced, six sons, Earl, Elmer, Buster and WD of Merced, Roy of Stockton and O. J. of Fort Sill, Oklahoma and three daughters, Viola Zigler, Bonnie Blaksley and Mable Edwards.
