FUNERAL SERVICES FOR LATE MRS. MARY CORBETT ARE HELD
Greenbush - The funeral of Mrs. Mary Corbett, widow of Charles A. Corbett, pioneer resident of Greenbush, were held Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. M. Kyes, at Oshkosh, at 12:15 o'clock. Rev. J. J. Wilson officiated and at 2:30 o'clock services were held at the Greenbush M. E. Church with Rev. William Mason officiating. The trip from Oshkosh to Greenbush was made by motor and burial was made in the family lot in Greenbush Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. R. B. Melvin, of Plymouth; F. B. Hesler and D. Lanpheer, of Glenbeulah; T. H. Thackray, A. W. Stannard and W. H. Wade, Hymns were sung by Rev. and Mrs. Mason, Mrs. H. Lanpheer, Mr. Beck with Harriet M. Keach as accompanist. A profusion of flowers told of the deep regard in which Mrs. Corbett was held. The immediate family present from away were; Addison Corbett, Miss Jennie, Charles and Kenneth Corbett of Hilbert; Dr. and Mrs. S. M. Kyes, Walter, Mary and Helen Kyes, of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Corbett, Jack and Joan Corbett, of Plymouth. Other relatives from away were; Mr. and Mrs. Webster Barragar, Dr. and Mrs. A. Lindow, of Sheboygan Falls, Miss Lewis, a niece from Horicon; Miss Ella Corbett, Gilmon, Mr. and Mrs. H. Mueller, of Plymouth; Wilber Adams, of Fond du Lac. Many friends were present from Plymouth, Sheboygan and Glenbeulah. Greenbush Rebekah Lodge, of Mr. and Mrs. Corbett were charter members, were present in a body. Mary J. Lewis Corbett was born on January 14, 1847, in New York State, and came with her parents, the late Benjamin and Betsy Lewis to Horicon and to Greenbush in 1868. On June 23, 1870 she was married to Charles A. Corbett and the couple made their home in Greenbush until 1898 when they moved to Plymouth where they resided until Mr. Corbett's death in 1916. Fifteen years of their life at Greenbush was given to keeping a general store. Since Mr. Corbett's death, Mrs. Corbett has made her home most of the time with Dr. and Mrs. Kyes, with frequent visits at the homes of her sons, Addison and Carl.

Mrs. C. A. Corbett, mother of Mrs. S. M. Kyes, died at the home of her daughter at Oshkosh, Sunday of this week, following a stroke of paralysis, which occurred three days previous to her death. Mrs. Corbett, who made her home with Dr. and Mrs. S. M. Kyes while they were residents of this city, was well and favorably known here and her many friends will regret to learn of her death. They have been residents of Oshkosh for nearly two years.
