MRS. SILVIA CHAMBERLAIN
A few hours' illness brought death to Mrs. Silvia D. Chamberlain, wife of Martin A. Chamberlain, at her home on the Branch road, Friday. Mrs. Chamberlain, who was 71 years old, attended a family reunion Thursday and became ill during the night. She passed away the next noon.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Waite funeral home and burial was in Spring Grove cemetery. She was a member of the Methodist church of Mallet Creek.
Besides a husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Varie Arnold of Barberton.and Mrs. Iva Doan of Randolph; two sons, John and Guy of Medina; two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Waite of Medina and Mrs. Mell Garver of Lodi, and a brother, Lewis M. Lance of Seville.
Mrs. Chamberlain was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lance of Lafayette and she was married to Mr. Chamberlain 50 years ago June 1. Following their marriage they lived with Mr. Chamberlain's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chamberlain at Chippewa Lake. After living in Seville and LeRoy, they moved to their present home where they have lived for 24 years.
