Dolores F. Anderson, age 79, passed away on October 6, 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Dolores was born December 25, 1928 in Colorado Springs, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Cuddy) Stokes. Dolores graduated from Calhan High School in 1946 and married John R. Anderson on February 14, 1947.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, working with her husband at ranching and farming in Rush, Colorado for 58 years.

Dolores is survived by two sons, Alvin (Carol) Anderson and Darrel (Le Etta) Anderson; two sisters in Iowa, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2005 and one sister.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Life Care Center and The Bridge Assisted Living for their care and support.
