FLORENCE DAHL

Services for Florence B. Dahl, 74 of Ivanhoe were held at 1:30 PM on Thursday at the Bethany Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe, with Pastor Gary Gabel officiating. Burial was in the Diamond Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural Lake Benton. The congregation sang "How Great Thou Art", "The old Rugged Cross". and "Amazing Grace". Lynn Whipple was the organist. The caskebearers were Lloyd Dahl, Arthur Koopman, David Binder, Michael Binder, Durwood Fehrman, Wayne Ferhman, Bryan Krause and Dennnis Krause. Visitation was from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Birk Funeral Home in Ivanhoe with a prayer service at 8:00 PM. Visitation continued at the church on Thurday, one hour prior to the service. Ms. Dahl died on Sunday at the Divine Providence Health Center in Ivanhoe.

Florence Bernice Dahl was born on January 4, 1925 in Diamond Lake Township, Lincoln County, Minnesota to Andrew Nissen and Vendela (Aronson) Dahl, Jr.

She was baptized on March 3, 1925 at the Diamond Lake Church, and was confirmed on April 28, 1940, Florence was a member of Bethany Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe. She enjoyed needle work. She is survived by her sister, Edna L. (Lyle) Krause of Marengo, Illinois; her brother, Elmo E. (Linda) Dahl of Hoffman, Minnesota; and 5 nieces and 4 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Vendela Dahl
