Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Connelly Albritton, 84 ,of Winnsboro, LA will be held at Sardis Baptist Church on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Leon Ward and Rev. Wayne Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mrs. Albritton was born May 29, 1923 in Shelbyville, IL and passed away Monday September 17, 2007 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. Mrs. Albritton was a faithful member of Sardis Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Mizpah chapter #15 and a current member of Mangham chapter #152. She was also a member of Gideons International Auxiliary. She was a loving strong, beaufiful woman devoted to her husband, faith, and family.
She was preceded in Death by: Husband-Earl M. Albritton, Father-James Wesley Connelly, Mother-Margaret (Warner) Connelly, Sister-Catherine Stockdale, Half Sister-Mary Ruth Connelly, and infant brother.
Survivors include: Daughter-Sandra McClure and husband Mike of Malvern, IA; Son-Dr. Michael Albritton and wife Sybil of Springfield, Mo.; Daughter-Judith Worlow and husband Danny of Winnsboro, La.; 7 Grandchildren-Michelle Allen, Anna Shamblen, Susan Bulgren, Andrew Albritton, Charles Albritton, Charissa Worlow, and Daniel Worlow. She was also survived by eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Pallbearers will be Andrew Albritton, Charles Albritton, Daniel Worlow, Benji Frost, Mike McClure, Chris Bulgren, and Danny Worlow.
